Chloé Miller, MA, LPC, MFTC
Founder & Clinical Director
Chloé Miller, MA, LPC, MFTC, is a dual-licensed, trauma-informed relationship therapist and the Founder of Lovers Counseling, a relationship health company grounded in prevention-first care.
Her work focuses on helping individuals and couples understand the patterns that shape how they think, relate, and make decisions—so they can build clarity, connection, and long-term relational health. Chloé has been featured in national media and interviewed on podcasts, her companies have been nominated for awards in pioneering spaces, and she continues to pursue her mission of empowering others to find the love they want through frameworks, skills, and emotional intelligence.
How I work
My work is structured, thoughtful, and focused on clarity.
I help clients understand what is happening beneath the surface—how patterns form, how communication breaks down, and how emotional dynamics shape relationships over time. Rather than focusing only on what’s wrong, we focus on what’s actually happening—and how to shift it. This work is best suited for individuals and couples who want depth, insight, and long-term change—not quick fixes.
My Experience
Before becoming a therapist, I built my career at the intersection of human behavior, communication, and high-performance environments. I co-founded Miller + Miller, a national talent representation agency representing top-tier creative artists, including Academy Award–winning directors and world-class photographers. Earlier in my career, I worked alongside professional athletes and public figures and contributed to sports media coverage connected to NBC Sports and the Chicago Cubs.
Across these environments, I saw the same pattern repeatedly: External success did not guarantee internal clarity or relational stability. That insight ultimately led me to focus my work on relationships.
Areas of Focus
My areas of focus include:
Relationship dynamics and communication
Emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Premarital preparation and long-term partnership
Decision-making and relational clarity
Dating and relationship patterns
My Clinical Approach
My work integrates relational and attachment-based modalities, including:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
The Gottman Method
Imago Relationship Therapy
NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)
Transpersonal counseling
Modalities support the work—but they do not define it.
The focus is always on understanding and shifting the patterns that shape relationships over time.
Credentials
My credentials include:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado
Marriage & Family Therapy Candidate (MFTC) in Colorado
M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling — Naropa University
Postgraduate training — Denver Family Institute
Board Member — Denver Family Institute
Mentor — University of Colorado Boulder (Leeds School of Business & Center for Leadership)
Work With Me
Clients typically begin their work with me through the Marriage Prep Program™ or, in select cases, through couples counseling and individual therapy.
As the Founder and Clinical Director of Lovers Counseling, my work is focused on structured, high-impact engagement—supporting clients in developing clarity, understanding patterns, and making meaningful shifts in how they relate. Ongoing therapy may continue with me or transition to another therapist within the practice, depending on the client’s needs and the structure of care. Additionally, I work closely with our trusted partners, extending additional marriage prep support to engaged clients.
Founder, Lovers Counseling
Lovers Counseling was built as the next evolution of this work—integrating clinical training with real-world insight into how people relate, communicate, and make decisions.
Today, I work with individuals and couples seeking to build relationships that are clear, aligned, and built to last.
