How I work
My work is structured, direct, and focused on clarity.
I help clients understand what is happening beneath the surface—how patterns form, how communication breaks down, and how emotional dynamics shape relationships over time. Rather than focusing only on what’s wrong, we focus on what’s actually happening—and how to shift it. This work is best suited for individuals and couples who want depth, insight, and long-term change—not quick fixes.
My Experience
Before becoming a therapist, I built my career in high-performance, high-visibility environments at the intersection of human behavior, communication, and decision-making. I co-founded Miller + Miller, a national talent representation agency representing top-tier creative artists, including Academy Award–winning directors and world-class photographers. Earlier in my career, I worked alongside professional athletes and public figures and contributed to sports media coverage connected to NBC Sports and the Chicago Cubs. Across these environments, I saw the same pattern repeatedly: External success did not guarantee internal clarity or relational stability. That insight ultimately led me to focus my work on relationships.
Areas of Focus
My work focuses on:
Relationship dynamics and communication
Emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Premarital preparation and long-term partnership
Decision-making and relational clarity
Dating and relationship patterns
My Clinical Approach
My work integrates relational and attachment-based modalities, including:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
The Gottman Method
Imago Relationship Therapy
NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)
Transpersonal counseling
Modalities inform the work—but they do not define it.
The focus is always on understanding and shifting the patterns that shape relationships over time.
Credentials
My credentials include:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado
Marriage & Family Therapy Candidate (MFTC) in Colorado

Work With Me
Clients typically begin their work through the Marriage Prep Program™ or, in select cases, through couples counseling or individual therapy. As Founder and Clinical Director, my work is focused on structured, high-impact engagement—supporting clients in developing clarity, understanding patterns, and making meaningful shifts in how they relate. Ongoing work may continue with me or transition to another therapist within the practice, depending on the structure of care and the client’s needs. Additionally, I am available for media appearances, speaking engagements, and strategic partnerships/collaborations. For more information on Media and Press, please submit an inquiry.
