Careers
Lovers Counseling is a relationship health company based in Boulder, Colorado, grounded in prevention-first care.
We are building a company defined by clarity, depth, and long-term relational health—not volume.
A Different Kind of Company
Most therapy practices are built around volume.
Lovers Counseling is built around intention.
Our work is structured, thoughtful, and designed to support long-term relationship health before distress becomes defining. We operate as a focused, private-pay practice serving clients who value depth, clarity, and prevention-first work.
This is not a high-turnover environment. It is a place for clinicians who want to do meaningful, well-paced work—and be part of building a new model for relationship health.
Our Approach
We approach relationship health as both a clinical discipline and a relational craft.
Our work integrates emotional depth, relational science, and structured therapeutic process—supporting clients in understanding themselves and their relationships with clarity and intention.
We are particularly focused on how patterns form and evolve over time—how individuals think, relate, and respond under pressure—and how those patterns can be shifted early, before they become difficult to change.
Clinical Foundation
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, systemic approaches, including:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Imago Relationship Therapy
The Gottman Method
NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)
Transpersonal counseling perspectives
Modalities support the work. Thoughtful clinical thinking guides it.
Who This Work Is For
We are selective in how we grow our team. We look for clinicians and professionals who are:
Drawn to prevention-first, relational work
Interested in understanding patterns—not just symptoms
Comfortable working with individuals and couples
Thoughtful, self-aware, and clinically grounded
Motivated by depth over volume
Interested in contributing to a growing, evolving company
Our Standard of Work
This is not high-volume therapy.
Our work is structured, intentional, and paced to support depth and clarity.
We are building a practice where clinicians can do meaningful work, develop their craft, and contribute to a company that is redefining how relationship health is approached.
Growth is deliberate. We expand when we find the right fit—not to fill capacity.
