Our StoryLovers Counseling is a private-pay relationship therapy practice in Boulder, Colorado, specializing in prevention-first relationship care.
Our work supports individuals and couples who want to strengthen emotional awareness, communication, and relational resilience before patterns harden into distress. To provide an exceptional level of relational care, Lovers Counseling intentionally maintains a small, thoughtful practice. We expand our team selectively when we find clinicians whose philosophy aligns deeply with prevention-first relationship work.
Our Clinical PhilosophyLovers Counseling integrates systemic counseling with contemporary relational science and trauma-informed therapeutic care.
Our work often draws from relational and attachment-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Imago Relationship Therapy, the Gottman Method, and transpersonal counseling perspectives. Rather than focusing solely on crisis repair, our work emphasizes relational awareness, emotional intelligence, and intentional partnership development. We are particularly drawn to therapists who enjoy working deeply with relationship dynamics and who value thoughtful, prevention-oriented therapeutic work.

Lovers Counseling — Boulder, Colorado
Lovers Counseling is a private-pay relationship therapy practice in Boulder, Colorado, specializing in prevention-first relationship care. As the practice expands, we are building a thoughtful and intentional content ecosystem that reflects the depth of our clinical work and supports how individuals and couples discover, engage with, and enter the practice. We are seeking a Creative Strategist to support the development and execution of this work. This role is designed for someone who is drawn to thoughtful storytelling, emotionally intelligent content, and the process of translating complex relational ideas into accessible, meaningful communication.
The Role
The Creative Strategist is responsible for shaping and producing content that reflects the voice, philosophy, and clinical depth of Lovers Counseling. This role focuses on translating relational insights into content that feels:

Core Areas of Responsibility
Content Development
Create content across platforms based on the Lovers Counseling content pillars. This may include:

Ensure that all content reflects the emotional tone, depth, and intentionality of the Lovers Counseling brand. This includes maintaining consistency in:
• voice
• messaging
• visual direction
• overall content quality
Creative Insight
Contribute ideas for future content based on patterns observed in audience engagement and emerging themes within relational work. This role includes both executing content and thoughtfully contributing to the evolution of the brand’s creative direction.
How This Role Fits Within the Company
The Creative Strategist works closely with the Growth Strategist to ensure that creative output aligns with broader marketing insights and performance patterns. Together, these roles support a marketing approach rooted in education, clarity, and long-term trust-building rather than short-term promotion.
Time Commitment

• Flexible scheduling
• Intended start: June
Who This Role Is Ideal For
This role is best suited for someone who is naturally drawn to thoughtful communication and who enjoys translating complex ideas into clear, meaningful content. This role may be a strong fit for individuals who:
• are interested in psychology, relationships, or emotional development
• enjoy writing, content creation, and visual storytelling
• have a strong intuitive sense of tone and voice
• appreciate depth-oriented work rather than fast-paced content production
• are thoughtful, self-directed, and detail-oriented
